When Google () entered the music business the Nasdaq with the Zune a few years ago.
Incredible similarities between Google and Microsoft in similar stages in their development. Microsoft plays an integral role in making Universal PC adopted and consistently from different manufacturers with Windows. Google brings the Internet to a whole new level with search engine and AdSense. But with this business of cash, spit and a dominant position on the spot, they need to expand to other businesses.
After Netscapeshattering, Microsoft go after Google Yahoo! (andNasdaq:) to the music player, and comes to the mobile phone market after almost everyone else.
Along the way, Microsoft went from a company with products for all people to the company a lot of us avoid at all costs. Microsoft become so large that it takes to emulate another company products to grow the business, and the muscles used in processes and products who are excited about creating change me off of the company. I'm afraid I see Google doing the same thing now.

Very sad to see that Google is slowly becoming the same kind of companies like Microsoft, and Google platforms music icing on the cake in my mind. This is a rip-off Apple iCloud and iTunes with a few minor tweaks. But this is not really new if we think about the market that Google has tried to insert after dominating the search.
